Job Responsibilities:
- Trigger and develop sourcing plan.
- Supplier audit, assessment and selection.
- Pricing and Costing Analysis.
- Drive cost and lead-time reduction projects.
- Pricing, Terms and Contract Negotiation.
- Quotation for New and Transfer projects.
- Supplier database management.
- Vendor management, including setting expectations, measuring and analyzing performance, and reacting accordingly.
- Drive alternate sourcing and product substitution initiatives.
- Establish, communicate and execute a clear and specific vision to maximize cost savings and supply chain stability.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, organize and lead any teams required to improve it, present project plans, options and recommendations to Management, and manage the improvement process to a successful completion.
- First Article management.
Qualifications, Experience and Other Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience – OEM electrical/mechanical components, plastic injection, gaskets, mechanical built to print parts.
- Experience in High-mix / Low-volume manufacturing environment will be preferable.
- Knowledge of BAAN ERP systems.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal customers (management and employees) and external customers (suppliers).
