• Develop and maintain procedures, processes and standards
• Provide lead support on VMWare and Exchange 2007 implementations deployed within the APS region.
• Provide engineering effort and ongoing maintenance support on Windows XP/7 OS images within the Asia-Pacific region. To devise processes and document procedures
• Supervise and lead local helpdesk personnel in their day-to-day operations to ensure timely resolution of users’ incidents.
• Participation of global meetings in the areas of, but not limited to, desktop computing, virtualization and messaging technology.
• Perform research and analysis in server infrastructure technology to identify, propose and implement cost effective and practical technology solutions.
• Perform installation, configuration, administration, migration, maintenance, backup/restore and troubleshooting the network and server infrastructure.
• Vendor management in the areas of negotiating for services, reviewing of submitted technical specifications and support/maintenance or upgrading of infrastructure when needed.
• Respond and resolve assigned Incident Management tickets to ensure that operational level agreement is met.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering/Computer Science with minimum 3 years of regional experience or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering/Computer Science with 5 years of relevant working experience
• Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and deploying desktop OS image in large environment.
• Knowledge in deploying and managing of VMWare and Exchange 2007 in multiple remote locations.
• Hands-on knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory Management, GPOs and Microsoft network services, e.g. DNS, DHCP etc.
• Experience with Storage Area Networks (SANS) is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communications skills in English. Ability to converse in Mandarin to overseas counterparts is preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work in and/or lead a team.
• Ability to pick up knowledge quickly, resourceful and independent
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
